14 photos that show London through the eyes of the homeless

An organization that helps London’s homeless recently handed out 100 disposable cameras to people in the community who produced a couple thousand photos that show the city through their eyes. Cafe Art collaborated on the project with the Royal Photographic Society. The result — more than 2,500 photos from the 80 cameras that came back. The Cafe Art initiative is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to cover the costs of printing the My London calendar and they’ve exceeded their target. The organization frames the artwork produced the homeless community and finds independent London cafes to hang and sell it in, with all of the proceeds going to the artists.
