A Christmas Carol (Radio Drama)

The year was 1993.  I’d only been working in radio for about three years, when one of the other guys at the station who’d been in the business for years decided he wanted to put together a faith-friendly radio version of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”.  So after finishing the script, we recruited all of the voice talents we could both from inside the station and out – whether they had acting experience or not.  What came about is one of my favorite memories in all of my years in radio – and I am so glad someone decided to save it to CD for me.  Knowing self-burned CDs don’t last forever, I thought it best to create something with a bit longer shelf life – so here you go.  For your enjoyment, I present the KCNW Radio Players back from 1993… including Yours Truly playing Fred, the nephew of Ebenezer Scrooge.
