Barna Research has again announced their list of the most, and least, Bible minded cities in the United states. As in past years, the South again has the most Bible-minded cities in the country. However, after three years of claiming the top position, Tennessee has ceded the top spot to Alabama. The most Bible-minded city in 2015 is Birmingham, AL. Tennessee still holds the second and third spots with Chattanooga and the Tri-Cities. The list is based on the percentage of individuals in each community who report reading the Bible in a typical week and who strongly assert the Bible is accurate. On the other side of the scale are the cities of Albany, New York, and Boston, Mass. ***MARLAR: And in case you’re wondering, Chicago… yes, we did make the list – but not on the good side. We’re only #81 out of 100.
