We already know that Jesus is described as “living water”. In rural India, clean water is becoming a way to reach people for Christ. According to a Mission Network News story, Out of the 1.3 billion people in the country, 128 million lack safe water. The World Bank estimates that 21% of all communicable diseases in India are related to unsafe drinking water. In response, India Partners, an organization that works with indigenous Christian agencies, recently installed clean water wells in two rural villages. Officials say they’re providing clean water, as well as Living Water.
