I’m very excited – I just found out that my syndicated radio show is now going to be broadcast on CKIQ-FM beginning in September! It’s a Canadian station – but practically in Greenland. I’m told that, with all of their translators, my show will be heard over an area approximately the size of seven U.S. states… with a total population of less than my hometown of Olathe, Kansas. Mostly Eskimos listening, apparently (no, not a joke).
We go on the air there the day after Labor Day (U.S., that is). Canada uses different money, they gauge temperatures on a different scale… so when they said they want to use the show for ELEVEN STRAIGHT HOURS on their station – that just sounds like a lot because it’s Canadian time, right?
