Dawkins Becomes a Creationist (Part 2 of 2)
On our previous Creation Moments Minute, we told you how Dawkins – Karen Dawkins, that is – became a creationist. We pick up her story today.
Even after Karen Dawkins realized that the woodpecker had to have been created with all of its specialized organs all at one time, it still took her about 15 years to come to the conclusion that God created the heavens and the earth in six literal days.
She told Creation Moments, “Christianity explains the basics of science. Biology, chemistry, geology, physics and astronomy are all based on an orderly, predictable set of laws. And if life is ruled by these laws, then there has to be One who created those predictable sets of laws.”
Today she feels she has a more complete understanding of the sciences by the revealed Word of God. We can only hope that a different Dawkins will someday come to the same conclusion.
