Elgin, Illinois Boy is ’Doing Something’ For Clean Water

A third grader in Elgin, Illinois decided he wanted to do something to make a difference after hearing Matthew West’s song “Do Something”. So, according to the Samaritans Purse report, Nathan Sevey decided to help provide clean water for kids in third world countries. With his third grade class on board, Dollar Doughnut Day sales were born. And the result was an amazing success. Normally the school raises about $30 a day through their fund raisers. But God stirred the hearts of people all over the community and, by the end of 16 days of doughnut sales, Nathan and his classmates raised more than $2,000. http://bit.ly/1uyoPjX
