Good Samaritan Act Thwarts Incident With Violent Suspect on Train

9474215_600x338When is the last time you stood up to protect someone?  A Phoenix-area woman stepped between a mother with a newborn baby and their would-be attacker on a commuter train.  Tameka Bates, the hero in this story, said out loud to the attacker, “Satan, the Lord God, rebuke you in the name of Jesus you will not touch this woman.”  The attacker, Steve Mason, was truly dangerous – as was proven when moments later he attacked a police officer.  He was arrested.  The courage and faith she showed is a powerful example to us all. Stand in the gap for others.
