Kansas police officer Mark Engravalle was called to a store to investigate when Sarah Robinson was caught stealing diapers, baby wipes and shoes for her children, totaling about $300. But after hearing her story, he instead decided to make a difference. Robinson and her kids had been living in her car since her husband had accidentally drowned a few years back. She said she felt she had no other way to provide things they needed. That’s when officer Engravalle decided to help Sarah out using his own money. He went back into the store and purchased the items, including shoes for each of the children.
