Our Multi-Directional Genetic Code (Part 1 of 2)
The code in every strand of DNA is so amazingly complex, it will take more than one Creation Moments Minute broadcast to cover it. Today – part one.
Have you ever heard the palindrome “Madam, I’m Adam”? The letters are exactly the same whether you read the sentence from left to right or right to left. But your genetic code is a different kind of palindrome that conveys one series of messages when it is read from front to back and a different series of messages when it is read it from back to front. Other meaningful information can even be found in overlapping portions of the genome!
Think about your genetic code as if it were a novel. It would tell one story when read from front to back, an additional story from back to front, and many other stories as you read overlapping messages of the code!
On our next broadcast, part two.
