On today’s Creation Moments Minute, meet the water boatman, a little insect that’s truly a marvel of God’s engineering design.
About an inch long, it swims on its back on the surface of the pond, using two of its extra-long legs that have paddles on the end, just like the oars of a boat. And it can see where it’s going because its eyes are especially placed for perfect sight while swimming on his back.
God gave the boatman the ability to breathe under water through its tail that sticks out of the water just like a snorkel tube. Tiny hairs keep water out of the tube while he refills his air tanks. Those tiny hairs also tell the boatman whether predators or prey are nearby.
Surely, the specialized features of this little insect are evidences of superb design and a master Designer.
For Creation Moments Minute, I’m Darren Marlar.
