Sin Stinks

On today’s Creation Moments Minute, see why a world that was created perfect now has so many stinky things in it!

Humans are able to smell over ten thousand different kinds of scents – some of them good and others quite bad. Nonanoic acid, for instance uses the same receptors in your nose as nonanol, plus two others receptors activated by nonanoic acid. Nonanol smells like a rose, but nonanoic acid smells like stinky cheese!

A minor modification of a “good” scent can turn it into a “bad” scent. The decay that man’s sin brought to the creation didn’t mean that God had to make new things. “Good” molecules simply decayed into a slightly different form with “bad” effects.

We thank God we have a Savior in His Son, Jesus Christ, Who will deliver us from the decay that is in the world!

For the Creation Moments Minute, I’m Darren Marlar.
