Strange Berry

Strange Berry

On today’s Creation Moments Minute, meet a very small creature that shows we have a very big God who can do the seemingly impossible.

God has created many creatures that offer direct challenges to evolutionary theory, since there was no evolutionary need for their unique nature. One such creature is a bacterium with a Latin name meaning “strange berry that withstands radiation.”

It can withstand thousands of times the radiation that would kill a human. It was first isolated in the 1950s, but a scientist who began studying the bug in 1988 said, “I had difficulty believing anything like this could exist.”

Evolutionists are puzzled by this bacterium because there is no environment containing so much radiation. Why would evolution develop such a creature? Not only does the bacterium challenge evolution directly, it also declares the skill and wisdom of its Creator!
