A Chinese businessman is giving back. The businessman told the Daily Mail that he and his family had always been well looked after and supported by the residents in his childhood neighborhood. So recently the 54 year old, who ended up making millions in the steel industry, decided to return the favor. He bulldozed all the wooden huts and muddy roads where he grew up and built free homes for the people who live there. But then he took it a step further. He promised three meals a day to the older residents and people on low income to make sure they could get by. The businessman said: I earned more money than I knew what to do with, and I didn’t want to forget my roots. Now 90 families are enjoying new homes thanks to his generosity.
