U.S. Soldiers in Afghanistan Shoot Pink Confetti for Gender Reveal of Fallen Comrade’s Baby

The North Carolina woman had even decorated a special onesie for their baby when she told him the happy news over FaceTime. Even though Britt now is faced with raising their child on her own, she is much more concerned about her late husband’s fellow soldiers, whom he called his “brothers.” So in the midst of her grief, she found a special way to keep Chris’s military family close to the baby. “I asked if they’d like to be the first to know the gender and they were really excited,” she said. “I told them I would ship confetti poppers or something and they could be the first to know and feel included.” Read the whole story at:
