While I did weigh myself last week I did forget to post it here – but it was good news as well. It’s slow progress, but it’s progress nonetheless seeing as I’ve now lost almost twelve pounds since the beginning of April. So far this is just my eating habits – no added exercise yet.
If you know me, you know that I am not an outdoor guy. The sun and I do not get along well at all – nor do I handle bugs, humidity, etc. Essentially, I live in air-conditioned comfort year round and anything outside of that makes me miserable. (Yeah, I’m a pansy, I know.) Fortunately, we do have an elliptical machine in the basement for me to use. Unfortunately, I’m too heavy for it and it broke when I used it last. So we’re getting it fixed but I need to be under 300 pounds before I’m able to use it again safely.
We’ll get there.
