Darren Marlar cast as J. Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man: Turning Point

Apparently God has a plan for my life – and it’s to voice the role of J. Jonah Jameson. I can now make the news public!  This is my third time cast as JJJ in the past two months – for completely different projects! (Am I at risk of being typecast already?) I’m excited to announce my involvement in the upcoming animated film Spider-Man: Turning Point. This project is really coming together nicely, with top-notch animation, incredible writing, phenomenal original score, and a director who not only has a passion for the project, but knows how to work with a voice actor.

The director, Shelby Hall, is really good at pulling the best out of you as a voice artist.  We had our first recording session today and I could not be happier with how it all came out.  Hall was able to pull more of the character out of me than I would’ve been able to myself – and it really shows in the recording.
