Darren Marlar Cast as J. Jonah Jameson (“Spider-Man: End of the Web”)

Details to come later, but I’ve just been offered the role of J. Jonah Jameson – the editor of The Daily Bugle in an upcoming CGI/LEGO animated film project in the Marvel Spider-Man Universe entitled “Spider-Man: End of the Web”.  No one will ever play the role as well as J. K. Simmons did for the Sam Raimi Spider-Man films, but I did take a bit of inspiration from his performance for my VoiceOver audition – and it apparently it worked!  I’m really looking forward to this portraying this character’s voice!  This makes my third superhero casting in three weeks!  I’ll be playing Green Lantern in a DC Universe audio series, Wolverine in a Marvel Universe audio series, and now J. Jonah Jameson in a completely different Marvel Universe audio series!
